We believe that effective, well-trained leaders are key to expanding and maturing the church. Without mature leaders, churches struggle to survive, and often do not last more than a few years. At present, most churches only have 20% of their members doing nearly all of the work. And in some churches, the pastor is left to do nearly everything by themselves. That is NOT a recipe for success.

To help the church succeed, and grow into the thriving, generation-shaping ministry God called them to be, we help churches establish leader training centers in the local church. What kind of leader training centers do we establish? Actually, it depends upon the church’s particular needs. The most popular choice, here in the USA, has been localized Bible College campuses. By establishing accredited Bible colleges in the local church, you make it possible for potential leaders to gain the training, experience, and confidence they need to become effective “servants” in the work of the Lord. Our focus is not just to train full-timer leaders, though we also do that well, but we concentrate on training all leaders in the church. We believe the church is only as strong as its weakest link. Therefore, it is imperative that we help build every leader (and potential leader) to become the strongest leader they can possibly be.

By doing so, we make the whole church stronger. That’s important, because one pastor, or a small team cannot expand the church alone. They need help, and lots of it, to effectively expand the church and increase its mission.

DESTINY Ministry Training School is a training school for men and women currently in the ministry, and those who aspire to the ministry. We teach believers to do the work of the ministry more effectively.
